Sheffield stand up!

After finally getting around to listening to my ever growing pile of promo CDs, I stumbled across Shake Aletti. They first surfaced on the blogs back in March this year and can be described as Sheffield's answer to Chromeo.

Sheffield duo Shake Aletti are getting me all excited with their 'FunkPop' sound. This slice of intelligent pop sees disco influenced ’The Way That He Does’ given a dancehall shake up on a remix by fellow Sheffield producer Toddla T that features Serocee. Look out for them sharing the mic with Roots Manuva on Toddla’s excellent ‘Skanky Skanky’ album.
